Privacy policy
Perkora is a Shopify app by LooLon that adds free gifts, buy X get Y offers and quantity tiers to a store. This policy explains what data Perkora processes for merchants and their customers.
Customers of the store
- No customer data is stored. Perkora doesn't store names, emails, addresses or order details of a store's customers.
- In the store – the Perkora widget reads the customer's cart from the store to show the gift bar and to add or remove gifts. It runs in the customer's browser and talks only to the store itself.
- At checkout – Perkora's discount runs inside Shopify's checkout. It sees the cart and whether a signed-in customer has the tag "VIP". Nothing from it is sent to Perkora.
- Orders – Perkora has no access to orders. It only reads how many times its own discount was used, a single number from Shopify.
- Perkora uses no cookies and no advertising or tracking.
Merchants
- When a merchant installs Perkora, we store the shop domain, the store name and contact email, the access token Shopify gives the app, and the offers and design the merchant sets up (product and gift names and pictures included).
- Billing for Perkora is handled by Shopify. We receive no card or bank details.
Where data is processed
Perkora's server runs in the European Union (Germany). Emails are sent through Google Workspace.
Security
- All traffic uses HTTPS (TLS). Daily backups are encrypted (AES-256), kept for 30 days and then deleted.
- Only the Perkora team can access store data, for support. Every such access is logged. Server access uses SSH keys only.
Security incidents
If we learn of a security incident that affects personal data, we contain it immediately, investigate it and notify the affected merchants without undue delay, within 72 hours at the latest.
Deletion
- When a merchant uninstalls Perkora, the app loses access immediately. All data for the store is deleted after Shopify's shop-redact request, 48 hours after uninstalling.
- Customer data requests and deletions need no action, because Perkora keeps no customer data.
